Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if that is higher) to use TrickerAI and to buy a subscription. TrickerAI is not intended for minors.

2. What TrickerAI does

TrickerAI lets you upload a photo and use AI to generate an edited, prank-style version of it (for example adding a person, a tattoo, a new hairstyle or another visual change) based on a prompt you write or pick from a template. Generated images are created by a third-party AI model (xAI's Grok) and are approximations: we don't guarantee any specific result, accuracy or quality, and some requests may be refused by our filters or by the AI provider.

3. Acceptable use — read this carefully

Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have clearly agreed to have their image edited and shared. Don't upload photos of minors. You agree not to use TrickerAI to:

• harass, bully, threaten, defame or humiliate anyone;
• create sexual, nude or other intimate images of anyone without their consent;
• impersonate a real person in a way that misleads others or causes harm;
• create fake evidence or documents (for example for legal, insurance, financial, employment or official matters), or anything meant to deceive someone in a way that causes real harm;
• break any law or infringe anyone's rights.

Keep pranks fun: reveal that the image is an AI edit once the joke has landed, and don't share edits of other people without their permission. You are solely responsible for the photos you upload and the images you generate, download and share. We automatically block some prompts and may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the images TrickerAI generates for you. By uploading a photo, you confirm that you have the right to use it and to have it processed by our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy. You give us a limited permission to send your photo and prompt to that provider solely to generate the edit you asked for. We store your photos, prompts and generated images privately so you can see your pranks again (see the Privacy Policy), we don't use them for anything else, and we don't claim ownership of your content.

Your pranks are stored in your browser on your device and in private storage on our servers (Vercel Blob and a Neon Postgres database, United States region), linked to your Apple or Google account if you are signed in, otherwise to this browser. We keep them until you delete them; if you are not signed in, they are deleted automatically after 90 days without activity from your browser. You can delete a prank, or everything with Settings → Delete all data, or email sigsten.gustavii@gmail.com. We don't guarantee that stored pranks will always be available, so download anything you want to keep.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Generating pranks requires a TrickerAI Pro subscription. You can choose:

• Weekly: $2.99 per week.
• Yearly: $39.99 per year, which may start with a 3-day trial for a one-time fee of $0.99.

Prices are in US dollars, plus any applicable taxes. Both plans include up to 20 AI-generated pranks per rolling 7-day period (up to 5 during a trial); unused pranks don't carry over. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Trial. If you start the Yearly plan with a trial, you pay the $0.99 trial fee when you subscribe. Unless you cancel before the 3-day trial ends, your subscription automatically continues on the Yearly plan and you are charged $39.99 when the trial ends, and then every year. If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged the yearly price; the trial fee is not refundable.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (every week or every year) and your payment method is charged the current price of your plan until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to make these charges. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription, which opens the Stripe billing portal. When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and stays active until the end of the current billing period or trial.

Except where the law requires otherwise (see Section 6), payments are non-refundable and we don't give credits for partially used periods. If we change a price, we will tell you in advance; the new price applies from your first renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before then. Promotional codes, if offered, are subject to any conditions shown with them.

6. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from contracts concluded online. TrickerAI Pro is a digital service that starts right away. By starting your subscription, you expressly request immediate access to the service and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once the digital service has been fully provided, as permitted by law. If you withdraw before then, we may charge a proportionate amount for the service already provided.

To withdraw, email sigsten.gustavii@gmail.com with a clear statement of your decision within 14 days of subscribing. This doesn't affect your right to cancel future renewals at any time, and nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.

7. Using TrickerAI on more than one device

You don't need an account: your subscription is linked to the browser you subscribed in by a secure cookie. To use it on another device, sign in there with the same Apple or Google account, or go to Settings → Copy access link and open that link on the other device (links are valid for 30 days). Keep your access link private: anyone who has it can use your subscription, and the weekly limit is shared by every device that uses it. If you sign in, you are responsible for keeping your Apple or Google account secure.

8. Intellectual property

The TrickerAI service, its design, logo and branding belong to TrickerAI and may not be copied or reused without permission. This doesn't affect your ownership of your own photos and generated images described in Section 4.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, TrickerAI is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the service or the AI-generated results will be uninterrupted, error-free or meet your expectations. AI-generated content can be inaccurate or unrealistic, or fail to generate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrickerAI is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any consequences of images you choose to generate, download or share. You use the service, and share anything you create with it, at your own risk and judgment. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You can stop using TrickerAI at any time: cancel your subscription from Settings → Subscription and delete your data from this browser and our servers with Settings → Delete all data. We may suspend or end access for anyone who violates these Terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, let you know in the app before they take effect. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.

If we can't resolve a complaint together, consumers can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, arn.se) or, in the EU, use the European Commission's consumer redress information.
