Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if that is higher) to use TrickerAI and to buy a subscription. TrickerAI is not intended for minors.

2. What TrickerAI does

TrickerAI lets you upload a photo and use AI to generate an edited, prank-style version of it (for example adding a person, a tattoo, a new hairstyle or another visual change) based on a prompt you write or pick from a template. Generated images are created by a third-party AI model (xAI's Grok) and are approximations: we don't guarantee any specific result, accuracy or quality, and some requests may be refused by our filters or by the AI provider.

Every image TrickerAI generates is AI-generated content. Image files carry machine-readable information saying so, and the app labels them as AI-generated.

3. Acceptable use — read this carefully

Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have clearly agreed to have their image edited and shared. Don't upload photos of minors. You agree not to use TrickerAI to:

• harass, bully, threaten, defame or humiliate anyone;
• create sexual, nude or other intimate images of anyone, or any sexual content involving minors;
• impersonate a real person in a way that misleads others or causes harm;
• create fake evidence or documents (for example for legal, insurance, financial, employment or official matters), or anything meant to deceive someone in a way that causes real harm;
• present an edit as a real photo to mislead the public, for example about news, politics or public figures;
• break any law or infringe anyone's rights.

Keep pranks fun: reveal that the image is an AI edit once the joke has landed, don't remove the AI-generated information to deceive people, and don't share edits of other people without their permission. You are solely responsible for the photos you upload and the images you generate, download and share. We automatically block some prompts and may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules (see Section 8).

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the images TrickerAI generates for you (to the extent they are protected at all). By uploading a photo, you confirm that you have the right to use it and to have it processed by our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy. You give us a limited permission to send your photo and prompt to that provider and to store the photo, prompt and result, solely to provide the service to you. We don't use your content for anything else, don't use it to train AI models, and don't claim ownership of it.

Your pranks are stored in your browser on your device and in private storage on our servers (Vercel Blob and a Neon Postgres database, United States region), linked to your Apple or Google account if you are signed in, otherwise to this browser. We keep them until you delete them; if you are not signed in, they are deleted automatically after 90 days without activity from your browser. You can delete a prank, or everything with Settings → Delete all data, or email sigsten.gustavii@gmail.com. We don't guarantee that stored pranks will always be available, so download anything you want to keep.

5. Subscriptions and payment

You can try one free, locked preview: we generate the edit and show it blurred, and subscribing unlocks the full image (within 48 hours, in the same browser). Generating pranks otherwise requires a TrickerAI Pro subscription. Prices depend on where you are: in Sweden they are in Swedish kronor (SEK), everywhere else in US dollars (USD). We use your approximate location (from your IP address) to choose the currency, and the price and currency are shown before you pay.

• Weekly: 69 kr per week in Sweden (US$6.99 per week outside Sweden), including up to 30 AI-generated pranks per rolling 7-day period. Intro offer for new subscribers: if your account has never had a TrickerAI Pro subscription, your first week of Weekly costs 34.50 kr (US$3.49), which is 50% off. The offer covers the first billing period only, can be used once per account, and can't be combined with other discount codes. After the first week, the subscription renews automatically at the regular price of 69 kr (US$6.99) per week until you cancel. Both the first-week price and the regular price are shown before you pay. We may change or end the offer for new subscriptions at any time. That doesn't affect a subscription you have already started.
• Yearly: 399 kr per year in Sweden (US$39.99 per year outside Sweden), which works out to about 7.67 kr (US$0.76) per week, including up to 8 AI-generated pranks per rolling 7-day period.

Prices in Sweden include VAT. Outside Sweden, any taxes that apply are included in or added to the price shown at checkout. Your bank may charge a currency conversion fee if your card is in another currency. The price of the plan you choose (for Weekly, the intro price if it applies to you) is charged when you subscribe; there is no free or paid trial. Unused pranks don't carry over. Payments are processed by Stripe, and you get a receipt by email.

Subscribing requires an account. Before you pay, you sign in with Apple or Google. Your subscription is linked to that Apple or Google account (not to a single browser or device), and only that account can use it.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (every week for Weekly, every year for Yearly), and your payment method is charged the plan's regular price in the same currency as your first payment (69 kr or US$6.99 per week, also after a discounted first week; 399 kr or US$39.99 per year) until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to make these charges. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription, which opens the Stripe billing portal; cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and stays active until the end of the current billing period. You can also switch between Weekly and Yearly there.

If you subscribed under an earlier offer (for example at a different price, or with a trial), you keep that price and those terms until you cancel or we notify you of a change as described below.

Except where the law requires otherwise (see Section 6), payments are non-refundable and we don't give credits for partially used periods. If we change a price, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance (at least 7 days for Weekly); the new price applies from your first renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before then. Promotional codes, if offered, are subject to any conditions shown with them.

6. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your TrickerAI Pro contract within 14 days of the day you subscribed, without giving a reason.

Immediate start. TrickerAI Pro starts right away. Before you pay, you expressly ask us to start the service immediately and acknowledge that (a) if you withdraw, you pay a proportionate amount for the service provided until you told us, and (b) your right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully provided.

How to withdraw. Use Settings → Withdraw from contract here in the app and tap Confirm withdrawal, or send us a clear statement by email to sigsten.gustavii@gmail.com (you may use the model form below, but you don't have to). It is enough that you send it before the 14 days have passed. We confirm receipt by email, with the date and time of your withdrawal, without undue delay.

Effects. We cancel the subscription and refund all payments received from you, minus the proportionate amount for the service provided until you withdrew, without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal. We use the same payment method you used, and you pay no fees for the refund.

This doesn't affect your right to cancel future renewals at any time (Section 5), and nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.

7. Using TrickerAI on more than one device

Your subscription is linked to the Apple or Google account you signed in with when you subscribed. To use it on another device, sign in there with the same account. The weekly limit is shared by every device where you are signed in. Access links, which earlier versions of the app offered, are no longer used or accepted. You are responsible for keeping your Apple or Google account secure, and you must not share your account so that others can use your subscription.

8. Content moderation, reporting and contact point

Your photos and pranks are stored privately for you; TrickerAI doesn't publish them. To prevent misuse, prompts are checked automatically against a list of blocked terms, and our AI provider applies its own safety filters; a blocked request is simply not generated. We don't review your content by hand in normal operation, but we may look at specific content when it is reported to us, when you ask us for help, or when the law requires it.

If you break Section 3 we may delete the content concerned, refuse generations, or suspend or end your access (without refund where the law allows), taking into account how serious the breach is. We will tell you why, unless the law prevents us, and you can reply to contest the decision.

Reporting illegal content and single point of contact. Anyone can report content they believe is illegal, or a prank showing them without consent, to sigsten.gustavii@gmail.com (please explain why and include anything that helps us find it). The same address is the single point of contact for users and for authorities under the EU Digital Services Act; you can write in English or Swedish. We handle reports promptly and tell you what we decided.

9. Intellectual property

The TrickerAI service, its design, logo and branding belong to TrickerAI and may not be copied or reused without permission. This doesn't affect your rights in your own photos and generated images described in Section 4.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, TrickerAI is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the service or the AI-generated results will be uninterrupted, error-free or meet your expectations. AI-generated content can be inaccurate or unrealistic, or fail to generate. If you are a consumer, you keep your statutory rights if the service is not as agreed.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrickerAI is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any consequences of images you choose to generate, download or share. You use the service, and share anything you create with it, at your own risk and judgment. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.

12. Termination

You can stop using TrickerAI at any time: cancel your subscription from Settings → Subscription and delete your data from this browser and our servers with Settings → Delete all data. We may suspend or end access for anyone who violates these Terms, as described in Section 8. If we stop offering TrickerAI, we will tell subscribers in advance and refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms, for example when the service or the law changes. We will update the date above and, for changes that matter to you, tell you in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel your subscription before then; the old Terms apply until the end of your current billing period.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.

Please contact us first if something went wrong. If we can't resolve a complaint together, consumers can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, arn.se), which we will take part in, or, in the EU, use the European Commission's consumer redress information.
